“Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) is a new paradigm. This is the next phase of development for Nasarawa State.
PPPs are futuristic, not because it’s a time waster, but it takes a bit of time to plan projects, projects that will stand the test of time.
This government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, is putting considerable amount of time, effort and resources in preparing projects, whether these are going to be financed directly by government through budgetary allocation, or it’s going to be some kind of concession.
This government is making it an order of the day, that adequate preparations are made, so that we can have sustainable projects. That’s the only way we can have impactful projects.”
According to the managing director/CEO, Nasarawa Investment Development Agency (NASIDA), Barr Ibrahim Abdullahi Adamu, in an interview with selected journalists, said the Engineer Abdullahi Sule administration, has so far executed five PPPs, during the last quarter of this year and will sign more in the course of the year.
