Members of the Correspondent Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Jigawa State chapter have called on the state governor-elect Malam Umaru Namadi to uphold the culture of continuity by completing and building on all good works and projects started by his predecessor for social and economic development of the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the chapel, Comrade Muh”d Zangina Kura in Dutse.

He said, “We all bear witness when the APC government came to power in 2015, it completed virtually all the projects it inherited from the PDP led government and awarded new ones.

The union said in line with democratic tenets, which Nigeria adopted as its political process, leaders are produced through election and at the end of any election there will be a winner and loser while hope and opportunities remain open for everyone in the future.
