Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel has commended the super eagles for their display of rugged talents during their match against Tanzania in the state.
The Governor gave the commendation during a Special Banquet held in honour of the players and officials of the two teams at Governor’s Lodge, Uyo.
Emmanuel who watches the match live at the stadium, known as The Nest of Champions said the encounter afforded the team’s opportunity to showcase their skills.
The Governor who expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for the choice of the state for the match doled out the sum of N10million (about $25,000) to the Super Eagles, for wining the match while the Tanzania got $10,000..
