First batch of Youth and Family pilgrims arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at exactly 1pm local time on Wednesday after spending nine nights and eight days in Israel.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Tor Uja who led the pilgrims to Israel for the first time since his assumption of duty on May 23, 2016, thanked God for a successful pilgrimage. Though he said there were some hitches but they were handled by the commission.

Rev. Uja explained that he was with the pilgrims from day one to the end in the same hotel and visited the Holy sites together in order to assess the impact of the exercise.

He commended the pilgrims for their level of spirituality and devotion throughout their pilgrimage experience.

Among the pilgrims was the Chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel, Pastor Seyi Malomo and his family. He described the experience In Israel as awesome.
