Sultan Urges Nigerians To Pray For PMB

The Sultan of Sokoto and president general, Nigerian Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA) Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III has urged Nigerians to pray for it’s leaders at all levels.

Sultan who specifically solicited prayers for President Muhammad Buhari, added that, Nigerians should pray for his good health.

“Let’s pray for our leaders always. Let’s pray for our governors, leaders at all levels and let’s pray for President Muhammadu Buhari. Let’s pray that Almighty God grant him good health and every other Nigerian,” he said.

Speaking yesterday in Falaliya village of Goronyo local government, Sokoto State during the flagg-off ceremony of Dangote rice out-growers program, Sultan thanked Dangote for not only deeming it fit to delve into agriculture but extending his agricultural gesture to Sokoto state.

He admonished other wealthy Nigerians to embrace agriculture, even as he tasked beneficiaries of the scheme to see the gesture as worthy intervention for their farmers.

On his part, the president and Chief Executive, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote insisted that, agriculture remained a very important to the economy despite the neglect it has suffered over the years.

According to him, if agriculture is given it’s right place and the needed priority, unemployment, rural-urban migration, low level of industrial capacity as well as the poor living standard of Nigerians would become things of the past.

Earlier, the Dangote Rice Project Director,  Mr. Robert Coleman affirmed that, the Dangote Rice Limited (DRL) remained one of the largest diversified business conglomerates in Africa.
