I Want To Be Youngest Member Of Eagles’ Squad At 2018 World Cup, Youngster Roars

While Super Eagles’ handler, Gernot Rohr, has been visitng strategic leagues in the world where players of Nigerian descent ply their trade, an 18-year-old, Ademola Kuti, a striker for Fujairah SC of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has stated his desire to be the youngest member of the national male senior team.
With four nations queuing to get the nod of the 6’4 player, Kuti, who has scored 12 goals in 11 games for the club, has stated his desire to don the colours of his home country.
“I believe that God and time who took me this far will see me through. I have tried to concentrate on my growing career. Though, if I have my way, I would prefer to play for my fatherland. The green-white-green jersey has always been my dream even as a child. My U-17 outing remains to take me to the U-20 and the Super Eagles. I want to be the youngest member of the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia,” he said with surety.
Kuti, who enjoyed a brief spell with Lobi Stars of Makurdi last season was scouted for trials with the UAE club while in action for the club in a friendly match in Makurdi.
