The Modibbo Haruna Buhari Charity Organization, Abuja, an NGO, has said on Sunday that those assessing the Acting President Performance, Prof Yemi Osinbajo higher than that of President Muhammadu Buhari are enemies of Nigeria and do not wish the country well.
Mr.Modibo Suleiman-Masaka, the chairman of the Board of Trustee (BOT) of the organization, stated this on Sunday while speaking with newsmen in Masaka, Karu local government area of the state.
Suleiman said that instead of Nigerians to continue to pray for the safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him continue with his good work, some Nigerians that do not wish the country well are going about rating Osinbajo performance higher.
He added that those making such evaluations are mischief makers who are always promoting crisis and want to cause confusion, divisive tendencies to the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“As I always said, this organization was formed with the aimed of promoting peace, unity and progress of our dear country, Nigeria as well as to assist the needy in the society as the name implies and the organization has been fulfilling its mandates.
“That is why, we cannot fold our hands watching some individuals that want to bring division in to the country through their hate speeches, it is better for us as an NGO to tell them the truth in the interest of peace and National development.
“President Buhari and his Vice Osinbajo run the president election in a joint ticket. The president and the vice president were elected based on the manifesto of their party,APC and since they were sworn-in, they have been committed to implementing that manifesto.
“We are frowning at the speculation tending to score the performance of the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo higher than that of President Muhammadu Buhari, it was a calculated mischief to cause a division in the current administration.
“We as NGO believed that what the Acting President is doing is doing it based on the consultation of President Buhari because the government was one and as such, there should be no basis for comparisons whatever between the President and his Vice,” he said.
Suleiman-Masaka advised Nigerians to be aware of those whose aimed is to create confusion to the government, adding that President Buhari administration has achieved a lots especially in the area of security, corruption, employment among others.
He has also appealed to Nigerians to continue to pray for the safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him continue with his good work.
According to him, whatsoever, the effects in the leadership of any society would have a multiplier in their followership and urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the country irrespective of ethnic, religion and political affiliation.
The NGO National chairman reinstated the commitment of the organization to continue to key in to good policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians.
