Prosecutor Duro Adekunle, informed the court that the accused person committed the offence on July 31, 2017 at Abidogun, Zone 7 area in Osogbo.
According to Adekunle, the accused person flogged his son, Uthman Adebayo to death after he stole a belt from a close neighbour.
The offence, according to the prosecutor was contrary to and punishable under Section 319 (1) of the Criminal code, cap 34, volume II, Laws of Osun state of Nigeria, 2003.
