Haj. Aliyu further said that the current news of her arraignment making the rounds on social media seem to be a media war which should rather be in a competent court and not on social Media.

The ICPC, had in a statement indicated that it was set to arraign Maimuna Aliyu, a former Executive Director of Aso Savings and Loans, on Tuesday.

The statement said: ” The stories currently making the rounds that the ICPC will on Tuesday Arraign Me is a media trial.

“Everyone should wait until the main facts are presented and debated in court and not stories to be flying on social media which does not possess strong substance.

“I have hitherto stated my claims and will continue to present the facts at all the fora I will find myself.” The statement said.
