Alhassan Meets PMB, Declines Comment On Atiku

By Jonathan Nda- Isaiah, Abuja –

Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, met President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

She had met Buhari after  attending  the inauguration of the Policy Framework and National Action Plan for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism at the Presidential Villa.

LEADERSHIP recalls that Alhassan is a  loyalist of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar who resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday.

When approached by State House Correspondents to give comments on Atiku leaving the APC, she declined comment.

Recall that in September , the minister had said she would support Atiku against Buhari if the former Vice-President decides to contest the 2019 presidential election.

Speculations are rife that she may resign from the cabinet and join the former vice president’s campaign train.
