Kano APC Crisis: NWC Authenticates Bashir Karaye As Party Acting Chair

The national leadership of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Thursday, put paid to the lingering crisis as the state chapter of the party as it presented Eng Bashir Yahaya Karaye with his appointment letter as Acting Chairman.

In a brief ceremony at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, the National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni while presenting the letter, charged the acting chairman to close ranks with all aggrieved members of the party, build bridges and mend fences with all.

The APC scribe further charged the acting chairman to live above board in the discharge of his assigned duties, a quality that endeared him to all in the first instance.

” You are tasked with mending fences and bringing aggrieved members of the party back into the fold.

” you must also administer leadership in fairness and justice just like what is obtainable in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.” Buni said.

Responding, the new acting chairman pledged to work with the Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje towards bringing lasting peace to the party at the state level.

Karaye further commended the leadership qualities of President Muhammadu Buhari, while assuring him of the continued support of the entire people of Kano.
