Olubadan’s Wife, Kudirat Dies At 71

The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogunguniso 1 yesterday lost one of his senior wives, Olori Kudirat Adetunji.
 
The deceased, 71 was the most senior wife of the first class monarch and the Iyaloja Oja Bolade, Oshodi Lagos.
 
One of the palace workers said her demise was socking and devastating.
 
It was also gathered that the deceased will be buried later in the day according to Islamic rite.
 
Meanwhile,  the Minister of Communications, Agbaakin Adebayo Shittu has commiserated with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji over the sudden death of his eldest wife, Oloori Kudirat Adetunji.
 
The Minister in a statement issued in ibadan described the death of the Oloori as a big blow not only to the Olubadan but to the entire indigent and residents of the city.
 
He lamented that the deceased as a virtuous woman had contributed immensely to the success of the reign of the first class monarch over the years.
 
Shittu admonished the Olubadan and the entire Adetunji dynasty to take solace in the exemplary lifestyle of the departed Oloori.
 
The Minister prayed Almighty Allah to bless her with Aljanat Firdaous and give the family and the entire people of Ibadanland the fortitudes to bear the heavy loss.
 
He further prayed for more sound health for the Olubadan and his entire family.
