After the Christmas and New Year celebrations, both public and private schools in Lagos State will today, January 8, 2018 begin another term.
It would be recalled that schools in Lagos State closed on December 15, 2017 in order to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
LEADERSHIP observed that students who are borders returned back to school over the weekend as motor parks were crowded.
However, some parents last week rushed to market bags, shoes amongst other things for their children.
In an interaction with few of the parents, they disclosed that payment of school fee is more paramount to them than purchasing unnecessary things that will delay payment of tuition fees.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP, a parent, Mrs. Nike Adeniyi said “we thank God for His protection over the children. I am sure that parents will be doing everything to pay school fee but we trust God that help will come.
She therefore advised parents to ensure payment of their children school fee before they send them back to school.
