NYSC DG Sympathises With Family Of Deceased Corps Member

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brig. Gen. Suleima Kazaure, has sympathised with the family of a corps member, Akpos Seun Samuel,who lost his life in Ondo state .

The corps member who was a graduate of Adeyemi College of Education , died  of typhoid and malaria complications at Federal Medical Centre, Owo.

The NYSC DG, represented by the coordinator of the scheme in Ondo State, Mrs. Grace Akpabio , paid a condolence visit to the family of deceased in Ore,the headquarters of Odigbo local government of the state.

The NYSC boss, who was accompanied by the State Commissioner Of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, expressed deep shock and sadness over the death of the corps member and urged his family to take heart and accept the development as the will of God.

Kazaure said, “His death was very painful, He was a very hardworking corps member on camp. Our staffs in the account section speaking good about how he will come and visit them in their work and how he told them about his life story.

“He equally told our staffs about how he was selling bounce and selling puff -puff to put himself through the school. At the time he suppose to enjoy, the cold hands of death took him away due to no fault of his own .

“It is a pity ,very unfortunate . God would give the family the fortitude to bear the lost. We can see the way the mother has been crying, it is my heart desire that God will comfort her .

“I want to seize this opportunity to thank Ondo State government because they stood by us through it all . The local government inspector rose to the occasion, he was the one that identified that the corps member was not feeling well during the CDS and insisted on taking him to the hospital. Our prayer is that, it will never happen to any corp members in Ondo State “.
