NCF Invites 33 Players To Camp For T-20 Super League

The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) have invited 33 players to camp ahead of the NCF 2018 T-20 Super League.

The high performance programme which is structured to fit into the International Cricket Council (ICC) scorecard module is a pointer to the Nigeria’s national senior men’s team selection.

According to a statement by Musa Ehizoje Bodie, media officer of NCF, the competition will afford the technical crew opportunity to select 16 players that will eventually represent Nigeria in the ‘double round robin’ ICC World T-20 Sub-regional Qualifier which will hold in Lagos from 16th to 22nd April, 2018.

The statement added that three teams namely: Team Kalada, Team Nwokedi and Team Alakija will compete in an explosive encounters for place in the Nigerian squad.

The teams will trade-tackle each other at the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos, from 19th to 25th February, 2018. The selected players will continue in the build-up process to the tournament in April.
