Christian United For Israel (CUFI), Nigeria chapter has announced Sunday June 3, 2018 for the celebration of Israel at 70.
The Executive Secretary of CUFI, Rev Samson Ozovehe made the announcement at a meeting held in Abuja.
The meeting had its director, Prayer Outreach Nigeria, Bishop Mike Apkami; chairman, Bishop David Bakare and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) chairman, FCT chapter, Rev Jonah Samson in attendance.
According to Ozovehe, Christians across Nigeria will be converging on Abuja for the celebration of Israel which was given birth to in 1948.
“The purpose of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) Sunday is for Christians around the world to unite in prayers for Israel as she celebrates her modern statehood.”
“CUFI considers this solidarity as the best birthday present we can give to the Jewish State. Across many nation of the world, banners, posters and billboards are spreading this message. This campaign must also be heard across the length and breadth of our nation, Nigeria,” ozovehe said.
