She is one of the gospel singers whose songs trended online and became anthems and praise classics in most churches last year. Ada Ehi is surely in a class of her own. Call her an anointed singer and you aren’t far from it.
She released her sophomore album, ‘Future Now’ last year October 16, 2017 and in four hours after its release days it became Nos 1 on iTunes. That was phenomenal and speaks of the depth of her song. The album which has eighteen tracks has gospel hits like Only You, Overcame, Testimony, Jesus and Cheta. In fact, the song ‘Jesus’ became an anthem in one of the mega churches that the church founder, had to endorse the song during their year end convention titled Shiloh 2018.
Ada Ehi who hails from Imo State shared how her song ‘Only You Can Do What No Man Can Do Jesus’ helped raise a pregnant woman who gave up the ghost on the theatre, from the dead. She narrated, “All my songs are favourite and has a lot of stories and good news which we call testimonies. One of them is a pregnant woman who had complications in the hospital and was wheeled to the theatre. According to the story I got, she died on the theatre and Doctors had given up on her and her husband was bewildered. The dead woman began to hear in the spirit realm, my song, Only You Can Do What No man can do Jesus… sung by angels and she joined them in singing the song. Afterwards, she jerked back to Life and her husband was stunned and left her side, he could not believe the scenario, his dead wife jerking back to life. That is one of the testimonies and it can only be God. “
Speaking earlier what inspired that song, ‘Only You’, the mother of two stated, “I was having a big challenge with my husband when the song was birthed. Only You is a war song, a cry of faith to God when all hope was lost”.
Ada Ehi early this year was given a brand new SUV by her pastor, Dr. Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy even when she never expected it. She is one of the products of the timely LoveWorld Records which has birthed so many anointed singers like Frank Edwards, Joe Praize, Steve Crown to name a few.
