Niger Calls For Tolerance, Love, Peaceful Coexistence

As Muslim Ummah all over the world celebrates Eid-el-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan for the year 1439AH, the Acting Governor of Niger State Ahmed Mohammed Ketso  has called  for  peaceful co-existence.

He stated that in line with the lesson of the month people should cultivate the habit of sharing, love and tolerance to all and sundry irrespective of tribe, religion or political inclination.

The acting governor, while reminding the  people of the teachings of fasting in the month of Ramadan as a way of showing equality between the rich, the poor, the leaders and the led, called on the people to sustain the virtues of the month.

He  enjoined them to continue with practising the teachings all year round for the progress and unity of the state and the country at large, assuring that  Dr Abubakar Sani Bello led administration would continue to provide more democratic dividends and conducive atmosphere for everyone in the state.

Ketso also called on the youths, who he described as future leaders to shun drugs, respect constituted authorities and  report  suspicious movements or persons to relevant security agencies promptly.

He called for special prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors and continued progress of Nigeria and Nigerians.
