Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has fixed June 30 as the deadline to complete payment of 2018 Hajj fare by intending pilgrimages in the state.
In a statement signed by the Media Assistant, Alhaji Faruku Umar,the deadline according to the agency’s Director-General, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed Range, was sequel to the directives given by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Range therefore advised all intending pilgrims to hasten the completion of their deposit and submit all necessary documents, which include E-passport, as well as 15 copies of additional passport photographs on or before June 30, 2018.
He disclosed that, the agency is working tirelessly to ensure a hitch-free 2018 Hajj exercise, even as he admonished all intending pilgrims to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the exercise.
Shehu also noted that, further details would be disclosed depending on developments before the commencement of Hajj operations.
