2018 Ekiti Governorship Election Live Updates

Today Saturday, July 14, 2018, is the governorship election date in Ekiti state.

The incumbent deputy governor, Kolapo Olusola Eleka of the Peoples Democratic Party is seeking to succeed his boss as the new governor of the state, the immediate past governor of the state, Dr Kayode Fayemi is also seeking to come back for a second term.

According to a list published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in May, a total 39 candidates will slug it out today.

7:20, 14/07/2018 – L.G.A: Irepodun Ifelodun Ward : Igede 2 P.U: 015 Presence of INEC staff and Ad-hoc staff .Security present

7:18, 14/07/2018 – L.G.A: Irepodun/ Ifelodun Ward; Iworoko P:U 007 & 008 Activity: presence of INEC Staff and Ad-hoc staff, setting up has commenced. No security presence and voters are yet to arrive.

7:16 , 14/07/2018  – L.G.A: Ido-Osi Ward; 1 P:U 9, 11 No activity, materials yet to arrive Staff yet to arrive, no security personnel.

7:12, 14/07/2018  – Araromi District , Ikere Ekiti, 3 polls seen opened. INEC officials already set up and security personnel are present.

7:11, 14/07/2018  – L.G.A: Oye Ward; Ward 6 P:U 002,  No activity Staff yet to arrive.

7:09, 14/07/2018  – L.G.A: Ado-Ekiti Ward; Irona P:U 011  No activity, INEC staff yet to arrive. Absence of Ad-hoc staff Absence of Security personnel.
