Ahead of the 2019 general election, a youth group under the auspices of Sani Sidi Youth Vanguard said, they will leave no stone unturned in mobilizing support for the success of the governorship aspiration of the former director general of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The chairman of the group, Abdulrasheed Ahmed Dogara who stated this at the weekend during the inauguration of members of the group as coordinators for the 23 local government areas in the state said, Alhaji Sidi is a dogged politician whose track records of performance if brought to bare in Kaduna state will deliver the state from the present state of woes.
He stressed that the former NEMA DG who is aspiring for the number one seat under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has all takes to return the state to its lost glory and reposition the state on the path of growth and resounding development.
Dogara reiterated that the governorship hopeful’s pedigree stood out among all those aspiring under the PDP and urged the party leadership to give him the opportunity to fly the party ticket to victory.
According to the youth group, the present leadership of the state has bastardized the civil service and traditional institution, adding that Alhaji Sidi has the ability and what it takes to turn around those institutions.
Earlier, the Secretary of the group, Honourable Ahmed Ibrahim also told the coordinators that their appointment was based on merit, urging them do their best and ensure that their preferred is successful.
He also described Alhaji Sidi as an honest, detribalized politician with proven record of outstanding performance in all the positions he served and will bring his wealth of experience to bare if given the mandate.
