Lawmaker Restates Commitment To Students Welfare

The member representing Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency in Niger State, Hon Faruk Bala Muhammed at the National Assembly has restated his commitment to students welfare.

Muhammed made the commitment when students of the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Abuja paid him a courtesy visit at the National Assembly.

He noted that education remains the bedrock of every society and he will continue to support both financially and morally desiring students to achieve their educational dreams.

The lawmaker commended the entire management of the school pointing out that he will continue to support the students to enable  them achieve excellence and also contribute to the development of the society.

Speaking earlier, a representative of the student body,  Mr Chimezie Godfrey said  the visit was to identify and  show appreciation to the lawmaker towards his support to their academic endeavour and described Hon Muhammmed as a philanthropist and visionary leader who has demonstrated the capacity to promote  education  in the institution.
