Former Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh has canvassed support for his Compatriot, Eammanuel Amuneke over his appointment as the head coach of Tanzania’s national team.
Amuneke, who penned a two-year contract with the Eastern African nation after he parted ways with the Sudanese side, Al Khartoum SC, will now lead the Senior Taifa Stars to 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
Coach Obuh commended Amuneke for assuming the role and also urged him to be professional in his dealings.
“Amuneke getting a coaching job outside the shores of the country is impressive knowing full well that he is representing us there.”
“It not easy to get a job outside the country and I want to also felicitate with him because Nigerian coaches have done wonderfully well in CAF and FIFA organized competitions.I won silver medal in U-17 World Cup and U-20 gold medal in CAF competition,”he said.
