2019: My Legislative Aspiration Is To Compliment Executive In Making Kaduna Greater – Umar

Kaduna State House of Assembly (KDHA) aspirant for Ungwan Sanusi constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Adamu Kabir Umar has said, if elected he will use his legislative powers to assist the executive in making Kaduna greater, while providing effective representation for his constituency.

Ungwa Sanusi constituency which comprises of Kurmi mashi, badiko, Sabon Gari and Ungwa sanusi has a population of no fewer than 158,578 people as at 2001 national population census.

The state house of assembly hopeful who presented a 24 point manifesto while addressing journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat during a press conference said, his aspiration is borne out of a sincere desire to provide quality representation for the good people of his constituency.

According to him, “when I get elected, I will open my doors to the teaming electorates, introduce a monthly interactive forum with the people of my constituency with the view to feel their impulse on their challenges.

“If elected as a legislator, while discharging my legislative responsibility, I shall reckon with the need to support the government by both being supportive on the the floor and of course by extension working for the people that elected me.

“As a member, l shall channel my energy to seeing how the children of the poor and less privilege are educated, supporting the same standard our dear governor aspires.

“Our motives are what an egalitarian society yearns for, improving standard of living will be my watch word, equitable distribution of resources meant for my constituency will be my priority”.
