Nigeria@58: PDF Tasks Nigerians On Continued Patriotism



The Progressive Dialogue Foundation yesterday held its annual National Dialogue at the Mini Art and Culture Centre , Area 1.

The event which was to discuss and proved solutions on to the continued failure of leaders and how to checkmate their excesses was themed “Gains, Challenges and Prospects of Democratisation. “

According to Mr Emmanuel Ekuase , Progressive Dialogue Foundation, he stated that the objective of the association is to create political awareness, organising participatory seminars to educate Nigerians on the need for political participation and guide constituents on how to demand accountability from their representatives.

“The foundation also looks at how to identity credible candidates to support in an election, kill political and governance apathy and nonchalance among Nigerians, involvement in budget tracking, and identifying approves constituency projects while involving constituents in tasking for implementation.

” And most importantly, giving merit awards to Nigerians who are outspoken concerning issues of National growth and development. We would identify those Nigerians who are passionate about the growth and development of Nigeria, and are often speaking up on issue bothering the development of the nation.”

The  Progressive Dialogue Foundation are made up of  Mr Emmanuel Ekuase, Barr Ogar Awhen, Mr Bob  Ushie, Mr Anthony Utogbo Ingwu, Mr Clement Alex Ogwuche and Miss Irene Omoha.
