The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat, Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr LA) has joined millions of well-wishers across the country to congratulate former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for clinching the Party’s presidential ticket.
Mr LA, who is also a delegate at the primaries in Port Harcourt where Atiku scored the highest number of delegate votes, described the Wazirin Adamawa as a thoroughbred democrat.
Mr LA who made the remark immediately after Atiku was pronounced winner, expressed optimism that the Waziri would be Nigeria’s next president come 2019.
He commended the national leadership of the PDP for organising such universally acclaimed free, fair and credible exercise.
Mr LA also commended all the other aspirants for their gallantry, statesmanship and sportsmanship in accepting the outcome of the most credible primary in the entire political party history of Nigeria.
He enjoined every stakeholder to join hands in ensuring victory for the PDP in 2019 so that ” together, we get Nigeria working again.”
