Ukraine President Denounce Russian Over Donbas Election 



The Government of Ukraine has denounced the Russian-back election in the occupied territory of Donbas, describing same as a ‘sham.’
A statement by the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and issued to newsmen by the country’ s embassy in Nigeria said, the election violates International Law and flagrant disregard for the overwhelming appeal of the international community to Russian to shelve the idea.
“We are absolutely sure that the results of these elections will not be recognized by anyone. They do not meet the standards of Ukrainian legislation.
“They are carried out at the gunpoint of Russian machine guns in the occupied territory. They are categorically inappropriate,” the statement said.
President Poroshenko vow that Ukraine will unleash every possible diplomatic actions, among which he said is holding a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on Monday in Vienna, where the issue of Russia holding ‘fake’  elections in Donbas will be put on the front burner.
“We began consultations in the United Nations Security Council in New York with permanent members of the Security Council. We have ensured that this issue of unlawful holding of the so-called elections was included in the agenda of the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
“This issue has also been put on the agenda of the next meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.”
He reiterated that, Ukraine expects reaction after the meeting of G7 and European Union partners, partners from the United States, Canada and the rest of the world.
He appealed to Ukrainians in the occupied territory not to give up their votes or participate in an election, Poroshenko describe as fake.
“I would like to appeal to those Ukrainians who are now forced to live in the occupied territories, do not give up your vote! Do not participate in fake elections.”

The Russian Federation is only holding the election to install it’s puppets. He insisted that Ukraine will strongly oppose this charade.
