The Kebbi State governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has said that the All Progressive Congress in Kebbi State has derived its strength from the unity of party with all the notable political figures from the opposition party ,PDP joining the party.
Bagudu stated this while addressing party supporters in Bunza local government area of Kebbi State where he led the party campaign train to the area ahead of 2019 election.
He said that all the notable PDP personalities are in APC in Kebbi and have all aligned in the party for the development of the state.
“” We are witnessing a lot in Kebbi State because of the unity and peace we have in the state which are sacrosanct to development.
“” Notable figures of the state even from the opposition PDP have joined APC to move the state forward.
“” This comprises politicians,businessmen, civil servants, traditional leaders ,women and youths have all embraced APC “” ,he said.
The governor who gave example of China as a one party state and the most populous country on earth pointed out that such factors did not stop the country from development.
He urged all APC members to continue to remain one united party and all aggrieved aspirants and members to forget the past and work for the success of president Buhari and the entire APC candidates.
“” APC is united in Kebbi, APC is not a party of lazy people, there is no king ,no servant in APC, all are accorded equal treatment in our humble party “” ,he said
In his remarks, Bello Yakubu ,candidate of APC for the National House of Assembly representing Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo and Bunza Federal constituency thanked the people of Bunza for coming out in large numbers to receive APC.
He said governor Bagudu has carried out numerous infrastructural project in the area such as roads and drainages and call on them to vote for APC.
