Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG), Prize for Literature 2019, is focused on children’s literature submissions authored by Nigerians living at home or abroad.
The literary prize, which rotates around literary works of prose, poetry, drama, and children’s literature is open to works published every four years, this time from the year 2015 to the present year.
With playwright and lecturer, Soji Cole’s Embers taking home 2018’s NLNG Literary Prize on drama, the 2019 edition focuses on children’s publication, with a deadline for submissions on April 5, 2019.
Writers are to submit 10 copies of published work to the NLNG External Relations Division, overseers of the competition. Works entered before in this category of the competition are not welcome, regardless of its further revision. Winners will be announced and presented to the public in the month of October.
