Evacuate Nigerians From Sudan Now, Diaspora Group Urges Federal Govt

Following the crisis in Sudan, a group, Concerned Nigerian Network in Diaspora and Rebuild Nigeria Movement worldwide has urged the Federal Government to begin urgent evacuation of Nigerian citizens from the country and brought back safely.

In a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP, President of the group, Amb. James Erebuoye decried economic situation of things in the country, saying if things were working normal in the country, citizens will not have to look elsewhere for a better life or for education.

Erebuoye, speaking further urged the in-coming government to ensure that Nigeria is governed effectively and functions well again as a country that is bless with enough resources that can sustain the entire country and its growth.

“Why should Nigerian citizens travel abroad for greener pastures when the country is blessed with everything? This is a very big error that needs to be corrected very fast as Nigerians are tired and will no longer tolerate failure of the system anymore.”

He said the peace and unity of the country remains paramount, and that all hands must be on deck to achieve a better result in nation building.
