An aide to the Governor of Kogi State Comrade Lucy Akumabor has explained how the state governments at all levels deployed technology in ensuring that the citizens enjoy the dividend of democracy in the state.

Akumabor in a statement yesterday made available to newsmen in Abuja, among other things said the governor employed technology to ensure security and good governance in the state.

While reeling out certain salient leadership qualities of the governor that has endeared him to Kogi people, she said that the governor would continue to be the hero of the state.

According to her, “the governor of Kogi state came from a banking background. I find that interesting because we were trained to always do due diligence. His Excellency has gone all out for anything or everything. He pays serious attention to the smallest and biggest things, particularly how he employed technology in everything he does.”

She added: ‘’For example, the schools in the state are smartly and remotely accessible, he sees all on his phone, laptops, and other devices. Also, major spotlights are viewed the same way. He is on top of things.

to contain the security situation in Kogi State. He does not believe in complaints but he faces them head-on and gets results.

‘’When it comes to providing infrastructures in the State, he tells his appointees to do the GYB Standard, which represents quality projects, superior and neatly finished projects. Every contractor knows that or they can get fired and replaced on the spot,” she said.

Highlighting some of the state projects done by Bello, she pointed out that those projects are of international standard and have long-term benefits for the people of the state.

“His Excellency introduced ‘Bellocare’ and this has helped pregnant women in Kogi to give birth for free. Women are really enjoying the services, also smart medical reforms and others. We now have a new Kogi State,” he said.
