Chairman of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) sitting in Abuja, Justice Haruna Tsammani, has dismissed the petition of the Action Alliance (AA) filed against the electoral victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.

The Tribunal dismmised the petition after it was withdrawn by the petitioner on Monday.

Counsel to the petitioner, Oba Maduabuchi, SAN, withdrew the petition and prayed the court to dismiss same.

Defendants in the petition did not object to the prayer of the petitioner.

Consequently, the Tribunal dismissed the petition.
