Kano State governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has described the launch of Rano Air as another landmark for the aviation sector and the state in particular.

Ganduje spoke when he flagged off the maiden flight at the domestic wing of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano, yesterday.

He congratulated the proprietor, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano for the development and charged other wealthy Nigerians to emulate him by creating jobs for the youths through more investments in the economy.

He said MAKIA had recorded yet another epoch event with the official inauguration of the new Airline tagged, “Rano Air.”
