Bundesliga: Akpoguma In Action As Wolfsburg Edge Hoffenheim

Super Eagles defender, Kelvin Akpoguma played all 90 minutes as Wolfsburg defeated Hoffenheim 2-1 at the Volkswagen Arena, in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.

The Nigerian international who was making his 25th appearance, was yellow carded against Wolfsburg.

The host took the lead in the 15th minutes through Jakub Kaminski’s strike to the delight of the home supporters.

Wolfsburg extended their lead in the 75th minute through Luca Waldschmidt’s brilliant goal.

However, Hoffenheim reduced the scoreline to 2-1 in the 93rd minute thanks to an own goal from Josuha Guilavogui.

All efforts by visitor to leveled parity proved abortive as Wolfsburg picked the maximum points.
