First Batch Of Intending Nasarawa Pilgrims In Road Accident

A major tragedy was on Wednesday averted along the Abuja-Keffi Expressway as intending pilgrims from Nasarawa State narrowly escaped death when a bus conveying them to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja enroute Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj exercise, was involved in an accident.

According to a short statement on NAHCON whatsapp platform, the accident occured at Kara in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa State.

The prospective pilgrims were heading to Abuja ahead of their departure time scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023.

The statement said no life was lost during the accident and the injured persons were receiving medical attention at a health facility in the State.
