Sokoto State governor Ahmad Aliyu has appointed seven persons into various positions, including secretary to the state government (SSG), chief of staff and five others.
This is contained in a statement by the chief press secretary to the governor, Abubakar Bawa, and made available to LEADERSHIP, yesterday.
According to the statement, Alhaji Muammadu Bello Sifawa and Alhaji Aminu Haliru Dikko, were appointed secretary to the state government and chief of staff respectively.
Others are Alhaji Gandi Umar, senior special assistant administration; Alhaji Husaini Umar Gorau, senior special assistant (P.A); Hon. Bello Yahaya Wurno, senior special assistant inter-governmental and
multi-lateral relation; Faruk Labbo, special assistant domestic and Faruk Ahmad Shuni, special assistant protocol.
