The chairman of the forum, former Minister of Budget and Planning, Dr. Shamsudddeen Usman, disclosed this to newsmen yesterday during
the KJPF third mentoring programme held at the Dangote Business School, Bayero University Kano (BUK).

According to him, the plan has already been submitted to the governors of the two states, and a committee is already set to follow up the implementation.

He said the forum, apart from mentoring young professionals to reach to the pinnacle of their careers, had been supporting
the governments of Kano and Jigawa states by intervening whenever necessary towards ensuring that they provide dividends of democracy for the people.

He further stated that the mentoring programme was conceived by the forum to encourage young professionals particularly in Kano and Jigawa states, to embrace professionalism and advance in
their various professions, with a view to developing their abilities and identifying opportunities in their chosen careers.
