The foundation said its mission was to lift the spirits of IDPs and ignite a sense of optimism and perseverance in their pursuit of life ambitions.  It donated bags of rice and other food items to the IDPs.

In a statement made available to LEADERSHIP, the organisers said the Outreach to IDPs camps and motherless babies’ homes is the foundation’s way of giving back to the society.

At the event held at the weekend, the foundation’s project manager, Mr Collins Peters, who represented the chief executive (CEO), Mr Musa Yahaya underscored the organisation’s unwavering focus on making a positive impact in the society. He said reaching out to the IDPs community was a paramount initiative, with the overarching objective of providing support and uplifting the lives of those displaced by insecurity in parts of the country.

He said the foundation sought to offer a glimmer of hope amid circumstances faced by the IDPs and assured that the foundation would continue to give back to the society by touching the lives of the less privileged.

The outreach to the IDPs community, according to him, sparked excitement and jubilation in the camp. The foundation’s team arrived at the camp with gift items, which enhanced the joy of the beneficiaries.

On behalf of the displaced persons, the camp’s women leader, Mrs Liyatu Ayuba, said the foundation was the only organisation that had visited them with items in the last three months. She said the displaced persons received the items with great joy and appreciation, and prayed God to continue to bless the foundation.
