Kebbi Gov Appoints Varsity Bursar As Deputy Accountant-general

Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of the bursar of Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aleiro (KSUSTA), Ahmed Arzika Mungadi, as deputy accountant general in the state ministry of finance.

Mungadi is a trained civil servant with vast experience in financial discipline. He has worked in many ministries, departments and parastatals in the state as director of finance and supply before he was moved to Aliero University as bursar.

His appointment was contained in a statement issued yesterday to journalists at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi by the governor’s spokesman, Alhaji Ahmed Idris.

The governor while congratulating the new appointee urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people and government of the state. The statement indicated that his appointment takes immediate effect.
