The Progressives Northern Professionals (PNP) has implored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint one of their own into the Federal Executive Council (FEC) as minister.

Making the appeal in a statement he issued at the weekend, secretary-general of the group, Bello Abdullahi, said Ahmed Nasser is best suited to serve as a minister under President Tinubu considering his rich track record, experience and pedigree.

Abdullahi noted that Nasser is a consummate technocrat who would be an asset to the new government.

He added that he would ensure that Tinubu’s avowed Renewed Hope Action Plan in areas of Housing, Trade and Investment are realized if appointed.

Abdullahi added that Nasser played a significant role during the electioneering campaign the North Central zone, particularly in Kogi State where he funded series of activities that promoted the party.

Being an international housing expert with requisite experience in international investment, the group said “he (Nasser) is a man of proven character and integrity, a characteristic technocrat with a zeal of patriotism to serve.

“He is man known in many circle as a goal getter and individual who always strives to deliver results in any giving task”, Abdullahi stated.

The group appealled to President Tinubu to include Nasser into the yet-to-be formed cabinet in the interest of the development and growth of the country.
