Yobe Security: Gov Buni Holds Talks With IGP Egbetokun

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has paid a visit to the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, on Thursday.

Governor Buni engaged in a productive and extensive discussion with the IGP, focusing on areas of collaboration to enhance security throughout Yobe State.

Buni assured that the commitment of his administration to ensure the stability achieved in security in the state will not only be improved but sustained.

According to him, “This is the number one priority of our administration and we would spare no effort in achieving it to make Yobe state much safer for socio-economic development.”

For his part, IGP Egbetokun assured Governor Buni and the state’s residents regarding the Niger Police Force’s readiness to protect the state and its people.
