The executive chairman of SUBEB Bauchi, Dr Surumbai Dahiru Usman Bauchi, in a statement signed by the board’s information officer, Muhammad Abdullahi said contrary to the reported number, the teacher-pupil ratio in the state is 1-79.

He said, “to put the record straight, the pupil teacher ratio on the last annual school census was 1-79. This indicates number of pupils a teacher meet in class per lesson.
