Comedian Basketmouth To Host Netflix’s Lights, Camera … Naija

Leading Entertainment Streaming Service, Netflix has announced Comedian, Basketmouth (nee Bright Okpocha) as the host its upcoming cinematic-focused event Lights, Camera … Naija.

The event scheduled to hold August 13, in Lagos, will celebrate Nollywood’s teeming pool of talented creatives whilst spotlighting the present state and potentials of the third largest film industry of the world.

Arguably one of Nigeria’s principal comedians, Basketmouth’s career spans over 25 years, with his hit stand up comedy special Basketmouth Uncensored touring some of the biggest stages at home and abroad. He has performed on some of the world’s popular comedy stages like The Comedy Central Special, The Just For Laughs Festival, Montreal, Canada, and the Improv, in Arlington and Houston.

A multitalented entertainer, the comedian career includes some producing and acting credit, a little but not quite impactful music career. With his wit and spontaneity, the event is set to be a night to remember.
