Octagon TKD Wins 6th CCSF Invitational Open

Host, Octagon TKD, topped the medals table with eight gold, seven silver and 11 bronze medals as the 6th Chika Chukwumerije Sports Foundation (CCSF) ended at the weekend in Abuja .

Abuja based Eagle TKD finished second with five gold, six silver and 10 bronze medals, while Team FCT and Alamo TKD won two gold and one silver medal respectively.

Niger’s Prestis TKD was the only invited club that did not registered it’s name on the medal table of the event held at the Indoor Basketball Hall of the M.K.O Abiola National Stadium.

FCT’s Uneh Unique clinched the female athlete of the tournament award while the male athlete of the tournament award went to Octagon TKD’s Jideofor Chukwumerije, whose explosive finals with Achu Franco of Alamo TKD and Martial Arts earned a fight of the tournament award.

A total of 82 competitors competed in 15 categories across kiddies, cadets and juniors levels.
