Two Customs officers with the Kebbi State Area Command have been allegedly killed at their duty post along Bunza-Dakingari-Koko Highway by suspected bandits.

The command’s public relations officer, Mubarak Mustapha, an assistant superintendent of Customs, made this known in a statement issued yesterday in Birnin Kebbi.

He said the deceased – Kabiru Shehu, an inspector of Customs and Abdullahi Mohamed, Customs assistant 11 – were killed when they engaged with heavily armed suspected bandits.
