This is as operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) arrested the suspended traditional ruler of Igbu-Akoh kingdom in Ahoada-East local government area, Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi, for possible questioning over the killing of the senior police officer.

Recall that Governor Siminalayi Fubara had in a statement he personally signed last Saturday evening, announced the suspension of Ikegbidi, who is also a former chairman of Ahoada-East local government area, for allowing criminal gangs to take control of his domain.

Nwuche, in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP in Port Harcourt, called on communities in the area to assist security operatives to fish out Angbashim’s killers.

He described the slain DPO as a gallant officer, who restored peace in a very short time to Ekpeyeland as a whole while serving as the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ahoada Police Division.

Nwuche further called on the authorities and security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act for the full weight of the law to be brought upon the perpetrators.
