In a press statement issued by the organisers which was signed by Mrs Ugo Kalu, the group said the conference and awards are dedicated to celebrating and empowering women in various fields and industries.

Kalu said the event will bring together accomplished women, leaders, and professionals to discuss pertinent issues, share knowledge and recognise women of outstanding achievements.

She said the theme of this year’s conference is to inspire positive change for women, and it will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, mentorship and counselling sessions, workshops, exhibitions and  booths and networking opportunities, with the event holding at Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja.

The awards segment, she added, will acknowledge and honour women who have made significant contributions in areas like business, leadership, education, science, and more, adding that the event will serve as a catalyst for gender equality, fostering inspiration and collaboration among women from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

This could encompass professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and advocates for women’s rights and empowerment. The event will also attract men who are supportive of these goals and want to participate in promoting women empowerment.’’

The group was established to recognise and celebrate the accomplishments of women in various fields, including business, politics, science, and social activism.
