A clergyman and presiding Authority, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Calabar, Cross River State, Elder Victor Bassey, has charged graduands of Nigeria Institute of Religion not to compromise the moral values inculcated in them by the school, but exhibit good moral behaviour to show to the world that they are good ambassadors of the Institute.

Elder Bassey gave the charge while presenting 492 Certificates and 10 Diplomas to the graduands, to mark the Institution’s 25th anniversary ceremony at Latter Day Saint, Etta Agbor, Calabar, on Tuesday.

The cleric stated that the Institute remains one of the most outstanding among platforms that teach young people how to maintain good values and entrepreneurship, stressing that with teachings received by the graduands of the Institute, they can afford to become self-reliant if they practicalise all what they had learned at the Institute.

He said that apart from engaging students on issues that bother on spirituality and moral uprightness, their capacities are also built in the area of enterpenuership so that they can grow up in business to become self-reliant and employers of labour.
