The government’s concerted efforts in engaging with local communities, and investing in security infrastructure have yielded positive results. This sustained peace is a strong indicator of the state’s commitment to ensuring a secure environment for investors.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has invested heavily in upgrading security infrastructure, including the deployment of state-of-the-art surveillance system, improved police presence by acquiring vehicles and other necessary items needed for enhanced operations, and effective community policing programs especially the establishment of GOSTEC. These measures have significantly boosted the security apparatus of the state.

As affirmation to the safety of Gombe state, Nigeria Security Tracker had rated the state as the safest and most peaceful in Nigeria. This was further reaffirmed by the immediate past Inspector-General of Police (IGP) when he pronounced the state as one of the most “peaceful” during the first ever security summit in Gombe.

Gombe state’s newfound security has opened up a wealth of investment opportunities across various sectors, making it an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investors. In Agriculture and Agribusiness for example, the state has fertile land and a favorable climate for agriculture. Investors can explore opportunities in crop cultivation, livestock farming, and agro-processing. The state’s agricultural policies and incentives make it a welcoming environment for agribusiness ventures.
