A staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, Comrade Sabo Muhammad has expressed confidence that gubernatorial candidate of the party, Air Marshal Saddique Baba Abubakar (rtd) would sweep the polls comes 2023 general elections in the state.

Comrade Sabo noted with dismay that Governor Bala Mohammed has failed to fulfill many of his electioneering campaign promises, a negative tendency which has made the electorate to look to Air Marshal Saddique Abubakar (rtd) come 2023 general elections.

Sabo told our correspondent in Bauchi that the PDP governor has not only betrayed the electorate, but also pensioners whom, he promised,to settle their entitlements, such as gratuities and pension arrears on assumption to office.

He said, “Some of the promises Governor Bala made during his electioneering campaigns in 2019 include providing sanity in salary payments, prompt and regular payment of salaries, regular payment of leave grants, settlement of gratuities and pension arrears, promotions in the civil service, among others”.

“The people of Bauchi state are democratically enlightened, they have their voting patterns, they know what balloting means to their livelihood. People know their rights in voting for candidates of their choice. They know who to vote for, guard their votes and escort their massive votes to the desired collating centres and subsequently INEC headquarters for results final announcement”.

Comrade Sabo added, “We are very optimistic that Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar would be the next governor of Bauchi state in the 2023 elections.

He had performed wonderfully at the federal level as one of the nation’s security chiefs in defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria, with his outputs personally commended by President Muhammadu Buhari”.

Comrade Sabo Mohammed therefore called on all eligible voters in Bauchi state to ensure the safety of their PVCs for the forthcoming E-day to dethrow the unpromising and unperforming PDP government in the state led by corruptible politicians who cares only for their family members and cronies.
